Can the system be accessed from multiple locations or on mobile?
Yes. FileMaker systems can be accessed from multiple practice locations over FileMaker Server, through a browser via WebDirect, or on iPad and iPhone via the FileMaker Go mobile app. Many of our medical clients use FileMaker Go on tablets for clinical notes at the point of care.
Can you integrate with existing clinical or imaging systems?
Often yes. FileMaker can integrate with systems that expose an API, and can exchange data via file formats common in clinical environments. We assess the integration possibilities during the scoping process and tell you honestly what is and is not feasible.
How long does a practice management system take to build?
A focused first module, covering patient records, scheduling, and billing, typically takes eight to twelve weeks from scoping to go-live. Additional modules, such as inventory, compliance tracking, and reporting, are built in subsequent phases so the practice is using a working system early.
